As if life wasn't tough enough.
One broken marriage, a dead-end job and now the man of your dreams is trying to kill you...
Good thing you got to the gun first, eh?
Shame it won't do you any good.

My character Magda Kelly who has been interrupted as she is getting dressed and is just about to put a bullet into Sacha Navarro. Not that it'll do her any good. Vampires are pretty hard to kill.
The pose is a direct steal from Christopher Hart's most excellent book 'Drawing Crime Noir for Comics and Graphic Novels'
Magda and Sacha belong to me.

This one is for my mate Baz!

This is absolutely fabulous! This style of drawing really suits you. I love the pose, love her expression and you are so good at drawing clothes it's silly. You've really got the sense of a moment in time captured - a fantastic sense of stored energy and frozen motion.

Also, very big praise for her hands - lovely work.

Oh, and Baz says thanks and she has a nice rack :P

Yeah thought he'd like that. Now all she needs is a twin sister, eh? :P
As I think I told you earlier, the original girl in the book looks like she's just deployed twin airbags. I tried to give Magda a bit more shape, plus I had great fun doing that bra!

It's a lovely bra actually! The female part of my brain was just admiring it! :P

Excellent. I like the shading, and the pose is pretty good too even if it is a rip straight out of the book. Good to see you uploading again.

You'll always be there, face I live with.

Thanks, I was pleased with the way the shading turned out too.
I confess, I couldn't do a pose like that, straight out of my head to save my life!

Wow, I'm pretty bowled over by this one! You really got the film noir feel down perfectly. It's odd though, I never imagined her to be this glamourous!

Gorgeous work! :D
