Kain Symbol Bag

Finished article approx 18cm x 20cm, excluding the tassels. The embroidery was done from a chart, which I worked out from the original symbol and drew onto graph paper. It is worked in half cross stitch, which is nice and quick, in Anchor tapestry wools over double woven linen canvas. Tassels and braid for the strap are worked in the same wools, the braid being crocheted.
From start to finish, it took about 2 weeks worth of spare time, maybe a little longer than it should have, as this was my first attempt at canvas work.
